What CBD Dosage For Pets?
Since there aren’t any FDA-approved dosages for use in animals, further research is needed to determine more exact doses. If your veterinarian recommends CBD, make sure to follow their instructions since dosing may vary depending on why you are using the product.
Many pet parents follow these simple dosage recommendations:
For overall health or a beginner dose use 2mg of CBD per 10 pounds of body weight daily.
For severe pain/episodes or an advanced dose use 4mg of CBD per 10 pounds of body weight daily.
For best results the daily CBD dosages can be divided into two separate sessions (AM & PM).
